Even before today’s game, the Giants have won their first series of the year, and that calls for a celebration!
Yesterday, Julie Parker of SFBay.ca asked on Twitter if the Rockies were the new Padres, which is actually something I found myself wondering as well. I mean sure, it’s only April. And I rarely ever check the standings in April, but I allowed myself a brief glance today and it is....not good for the Rockies so far.
With all the negativity surrounding the Giants, I would have thought they would have been in last place, but instead you have the 3-12 Rockies who have lost nine of their last 10 games and have the worst record in baseball.
