Twenty years ago, the San Francisco Giants started playing baseball games in what was then called Pac Bell Park, but is now named Oracle Park after cycling through quite a few other names. Many consider it one of the best ballparks in all of baseball, but as a biased Giants fan, it is the best park in baseball in my opinion.
I will always feel a special kinship with this park because if you calculate its age based on when it was opened for play, then it is the same age that I am. It opened its doors just about a month before I was born back in 2000, so I will always be the same age as Oracle Park for as long as I live, which is pretty neat.
