Late in the San Francisco Giants’ 3-1 win over the Cubs on Wednesday, outfielder Heliot Ramos made a weird gesture in the outfield.
Ramos went 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout in the game, a generally unimpressive performance. But a strange moment happened at the end of the eighth inning, whenx Ramos faked throwing a baseball into the stands as he ran back to the dugout.

It wasn’t clear from the broadcast why he did that, but we got an answer later in the day when a Cubs fan named Chase posted a video on TikTok showing himself heckling Ramos several times late in Wednesday’s ballgame.
