Ok, things have started off a wee bit on the wrong foot as the Giants’ five affiliates to make the post-season have gone a collective 0-5 in their first games. And offenses, in particular, have really struggled to get things going.

The playoff bound RiverCats were, of course, constantly denuded by the big club (as happens) to the point that their starting pitcher for Game 1 of the playoffs was a pitcher who spent most of the season in Richmond’s bullpen.
