Conner Menez is making it to the Majors, and that’s a pretty big deal for the 14th rounder to do it in just three-plus seasons of work. The 24 year old left-hander has opened eyes with 123 strikeouts against 36 walks in 95 innings this season, so he has earned his shot. He gets to start on Sunday, and give the Giants to get back on the winning track after their first loss breaking a winning streak, so that’s big news.
