SF Giants hire same concessionaire fired by NFL team, prisons and national park

The San Francisco Giants have made a potentially controversial change at Oracle Park for the 2024 season — and this time, we’re not talking about the public address announcer.

The Giants have switched their concessionaire to the sports division for Aramark, the much-maligned food services and facilities services provider based out of Philadelphia. The company will operate under the bespoke brand Diamond 58 at the ballpark, an homage to the year the Giants moved to San Francisco.

That's the same Aramark that had a subsidiary's contract terminated at Crater Lake National Park by the National Park Service after the agency had threatened to do so weeks before.
