The SF Giants at least had something fun happen in their regular season finale after another disappointing campaign. Shortstop Willy Adames became the first Giant to hit 30 home runs in a season since Barry Bonds did it in 2004.
It was a cool moment for the first-year Giant and showed how far he had come from his struggles early in the season. The Giants will not play another regular season game until next March, but they can break yet another curse in that game as well.

Ever since Bonds' last season in 2007, the Giants have had a different Opening Day left fielder every single season since.
