Padres security hit a child with a crunching tackle in the back after the kid ran onto the field during Tuesday’s game against the San Francisco Giants.
The child made his way onto the field of Petco Park right at the top of the eighth inning. Video from the incident shows the child circling right fielder Fernando Tatis Jr. a couple of times before one member of security is able to grab him. Just seconds after he was restrained, another member of ballpark security tackled the kid from behind and brought the child to the ground as a third member of security added their weight to the takedown.
