It hasn’t been the best week for the San Francisco Giants. They hit some bumps in the road, and suffered their first three-game sweep of the season at the hands of the Detroit Tigers. They’ve gone 12 consecutive games without scoring more than four runs, and haven’t scored more than three in 10 of those games.
But even in mediocre weeks, players shine brightly. So it’s time for a weekly tradition that Sami has rolled out this year: picking a player of the week.
There are certainly some names to choose from. Heliot Ramos hit a majestic dinger, while Matt Chapman homered and was an on-base machine.
