The San Francisco Giants won a hard-fought game against the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday, but it wasn’t a great day in the organization. Four of the five teams that took the field lost. AAA Sacramento, high-A San Jose, single-A Augusta, and the DSL Giants all lost. Salem-Keizer were the only ones to come away with a win on the day, their third straight victory.
Rain continues to batter the east coast, and the AA Flying Squirrels’ contest against the Erie SeaWolves, in Erie, PA, was postponed. That game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday.
