San Francisco Giants third baseman Evan Longoria appeared to weigh in on the Astros' alleged hidden buzzer scandal in a tweet Thursday afternoon.
"What happened to the term 'cheaters never prosper,'" Longoria wrote on Thursday, presumably alluding to the rumors propagated by baseball YouTube personality Jomboy and Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher Trevor Bauer that Astros players wore buzzers hidden underneath their uniforms during the 2019 ALCS.
Longoria also retweeted a video showing Astros second baseman Jose Altuve running into the dugout after hitting a walk-off home run off Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman in Game 6 of the 2019 ALCS.
