San Francisco Giants: Chris Heston Traded to Seattle

Sources have told Joel Sherman that the trade has been agreed to, but the teams will finalize officially in the next few days. The San Francisco Giants would have had to designate Chris Heston for assignment today if a trade had not been agreed to, according to Alex Pavlovic of CSN Bay Area.

Heston won 12 games as a rookie in 2015 which included a June 9th no hitter against the eventual National League Pennant winning New York Mets. It was the 17th no hitter in San Fransisco Giants history. Heston struggled in the second half of that season, however and spent the majority of 2016 on the disabled list.
