Royals rough up Cueto, Giants swept in two-game home series

Johnny Cueto helped the Royals win the 2015 World Series, but on Wednesdsay his former team didn't let up in a 7-2 Giants loss at AT&T Park.

Cueto allowed 10 hits and five earned runs over 5 2/3 innings pitched. He also struck out five, but gave up three home runs.

San Francisco dropped both of their interleague games at home against Kansas City.

Rookie Austin Slater and Eduardo Nunez drove in the only runs for the Giants.

The Giants are now 26-41 on the year.
