Roger Craig, who managed San Francisco Giants to World Series, dies at 93

Roger Craig, who made the San Francisco Giants both a far more successful and fun team as its manager for eight seasons, including a World Series appearance, has died, the team announced Sunday. He was 93.

"We have lost a legendary member of our Giants family.” said Larry Baer, the Giants' president and CEO, in a statement. “Roger was beloved by players, coaches, front office staff and fans."

With the Giants, Craig was known for his colorful, upbeat expressions such as "Humm Baby" and "Don't let your dauber down" — dauber being another word for "spirit.
