SAN FRANCISCO — The San Francisco Giants will have two Northern California natives joining the roster on Sunday.
Left-hander Conner Menez will make his major league debut as the Giants’ starting pitcher in their series finale against the Mets and he’ll reportedly be joined in San Francisco by corner infielder Zach Green.
Giants manager Bruce Bochy announced the team’s plan to add Menez to the roster and insert him into the starting rotation prior to Saturday’s loss against the Mets. NBC Sports Bay Area reported postgame that Green, the Sacramento River Cats’ home run leader, will also be activated on Sunday.
