SAN FRANCISCO — The first car has rolled into the station, but it’s the trains behind Bart that will give the San Francisco Giants a chance to operate smoothly into the 2020s.
Top prospect Joey Bart arrived at Oracle Park with a bang on Thursday, delivering a 109.5 mile per hour double down the left field line in a 10-5 victory over the Angels. Bart’s highly anticipated debut will go down as one of the most exciting moments of the Giants’ 2020 season and not only because the team’s new starting catcher helped the club to its first three-game win streak of the year.
