NBC is trying out a funky broadcasting arrangement for SF Giants-Phillies this Father's Day weekend

Beginning on Friday, the San Francisco Giants will face the Philadelphia Phillies in a three-game series that you'll only be able to stream.

The good news is the upcoming trio of matchups are free to watch on Peacock, NBC's relatively new direct-to-consumer streaming service. The catch is you'll have to make a Peacock account to tune in.

As far as I can tell, this temporary arrangement isn't the same blackout annoyance that's plagued so many local broadcasts across the country. If you live in the Bay Area or Philadelphia (or anywhere in the United States) and you sign up for a Peacock account, you can stream the entire Giants-Phillies series on your Smart TV or computer or phone, full stop.
