It’s not often you get to combine grocery shopping with a chance to meet two Major League Baseball standouts and talk World Series match-ups with them.
On Saturday, Oct. 21, the Los Gatos location of Lunardi’s will host retired San Francisco Giants pitchers Vida Blue and Bill Laskey, now a KNBR radio duo.
All-star Blue also pitched for the Oakland A’s, of course, from 1969 to 1977 before joining the Giants and then the Royals. Laskey pitched for the Giants, the Indians and the Expos.
The appearance will run from noon to 2 p.
