Mike Krukow announced on KNBR today that he will be shortening his broadcast season to 120 games for 2017, adding that recently retired Giants Javier Lopez and Jeremy Affeldt will be filling in the rest.

Though fans are accustomed to their nightly dose of the dynamic duo that is Kruk & Kuip, we’ve known for some time that the grueling travel schedule of a baseball broadcaster has become increasingly difficult for Krukow.
