Back in late May, Mike Krukow mentioned the idea of the Giants possibly going to a six-man rotation when Matt Cain and Jake Peavy were ready to be activated from the disabled list.
Almost two months later, with Cain and Peavy back, Krukow re-surfaced the concept.
"Again, you got a bunch of guys that are old and they got dings. And it's gonna be a challenge for Dave Righetti and Bruce Bochy to give them enough rest," Krukow explained on KNBR 680-AM on Monday morning.
