The memorable lyrics “You can’t always get what you want, but if you try sometime, you find, you get what you need,” may apply to the Giants as they embark on an extremely pivotal offseason attempt to reload their roster.
The GM Meetings in Orlando, Fla. are scheduled to begin next week, and the Giants’ brass of Larry Baer, Brian Sabean and Bobby Evans are under pressure to construct a club that can be competitive for a playoff berth in 2018.
