SAN FRANCISCO — Derek Holland is getting a first-hand tutorial on the thin line between humor and hurtfulness.
Two days after Holland attempted a comedy bit on MLB Network’s “Intentional Talk” by performing an Asian caricature alongside Giants massage therapist Haro Ogawa, the left-hander issued a full-throated apology, insisting that his racial insensitivity was unintended.
