We’re coming to the end of prospect-ranking season, which is bittersweet. It’s bitter because I love reading these things, and I have since the days of Nate Bump. It’s sweet because it means that actual, honest-to-goodness baseball is close. Oh, man, baseball. Crack of the grass, smell of the bat, can’t wait.
Keith Law, ESPN’s senior prospect writer, released his top-10 list for the Giants’ farm system on Wednesday, and while there weren’t any major surprises, he joined the minority by putting Tyler Beede in the top spot (as well as #62 on his overall list).
