Jones' HR a spark, but Giants' skid continues

MILWAUKEE -- The San Francisco Giants' moribund offense finally showed signs of life Saturday evening, but it still wasn't enough to snap a losing streak that's now at a season-high seven games after a 4-3 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park.

With the Giants staring at a 4-0 deficit after five innings, Chase d'Arnaud broke Gio Gonzalez's shutout bid when replay showed he slid in ahead of Manny Pina's tag, extending the sixth inning. That chased Gonzalez, who'd struck out seven while scattering three hits and a walk over 5 2/3 innings in his Brewers debut.
