Nobody within the Giants' hierarchy has said much publicly about Holland's immediate future. But the "fit" between player and team certainly exists in this case, making it likely that Holland will indeed return to the Giants in 2019. As Joaquin pointed out, Holland has remained a prototypical fifth starter, working at least six innings in 11 of his 25 starts.
