Homers spark mammoth frame in Giants' win

SAN FRANCISCO -- The Giants crafted a seven-run inning the hard way -- using back-to-back homers from Andrew McCutchen and Brandon Crawford as the building blocks -- and rode that to a 10-3 win over the D-backs on Monday in AT&T Park.

It was the fifth consecutive win for San Francisco and pushed the club to 30-30, the first time the Giants have been at .500 since May 20. Since falling a season-worst 6 1/2 games out on May 1, the club has picked up five games on the National League West-leading D-backs.

The D-backs had taken a 2-0 lead on a fourth-inning two-out, two-run double from Ketel Marte before the McCutchen and Crawford homers tied the game off starter Zack Godley.
