First baseman Will Clark, a beloved San Francisco Giant who got little love from Hall of Fame voters after he retired, is getting another chance.

So is outfielder Harold Baines, who spent just three of his 22 major-league seasons with the A's, but helped them reach the 1990 World Series and 1992 American League Championship Series.
