Giants' Posey connects for 100th career home run

Welcome to the 100 Home Run Club, Buster Posey.

The Giants catcher connected for No. 100 in the fourth inning against the Rockies on Sunday.

Leading off the inning, Posey hit a 2-0 sinker from Colorado starter Yohan Flande over the wall in right center to tie the game 2-2.

With his 100th, Posey moves into sole possession of 20th on the Giants' all-time home run list, breaking a tie with Jeffrey Leonard. He's one behind Chili Davis for 19th.

The home run was Posey's 17th of the season and first since August 3 in Atlanta.
