The San Francisco Giants made a flurry of moves on Friday, before their second half opener against the St. Louis Cardinals. Most notable is that ace Kevin Gausman, who was initially slated to start Friday’s game, has been placed on the Family Emergency Medical List.
Gausman’s wife is currently in the hospital due to complications with her pregnancy. It sounds like everything is OK, but suffice to say we’ll be keeping the family in our thoughts.
Gausman is back home with his wife Taylor, who is having some pregnancy complications that required hospitalization.
