ATLANTA - No other words really suffice to describe what happened over the past three days at SunTrust Park: The Giants faced one of baseball's hottest teams more than a month into the season and kicked its butt.
Sunday's 4-3 victory completed a sweep in which the Giants, suddenly one of the most clutch-hitting teams in the league, outscored the Braves 24-9.
This one got scary for the Giants. They had to withstand a two-run rally in the ninth against Hunter Strickland before he got Ozzie Albies to foul out to end it with the potential tying run at third.
