The San Francisco Giants made a few moves to their bullpen on Friday, ahead of their three-game series against the Oakland A’s. The Giants recalled right-handed pitcher Shaun Anderson and left-handed pitcher Andrew Suárez from Sacramento.
Both pitchers are able to stretch it out, so they can provide long relief should a Giants starter get knocked out early.
To make room for Anderson and Suárez, right-handed pitcher Rico Garcia and left-handed pitcher Wandy Peralta were optioned to the Alternate Training Site.
