SAN FRANCISCO — Brandon Belt put the Giants ahead for good Sunday with a three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning in a 9-5 win over the Colorado Rockies at AT&T Park.
Belt, in one of the hottest streaks of his career, tied in to a 1-1 pitch from left-handed pitcher Jake McGee for his 11th home run of the season, driving in Gorkys Hernandez and Evan Longoria, to put the Giants up 8-5 in a game they trailed at one point 4-1.
Nick Hundley followed with a solo home run to left — his fifth — to put the Giants up 9-5 before a crowd of 40,334.
