The Giants have added three pitchers to the 40-man roster ahead of the Rule 5 draft on December 13. As Roger predicted, Melvin Adon and Logan Webb were added and Chase Johnson was outrighted to triple-A. Joining Adon and Webb is Sam Coonrod.

Johnson’s removal from the 40-man roster means that he was exposed to waivers, but no other team wanted to add him to their own.
