Today is one of the rarest days that can ever be found in baseball: A Friday without a game. I know, I’m disturbed by the prospect of actually having to find something to do as well. When asked last weekend when the last time he’d had a Friday night off, Mike Krukow said he hadn’t had one since before he started playing baseball.
Personally, I am excited to do literally nothing tonight and enjoy every minute of it, without feeling guilty about falling asleep during a baseball game, as I did Wednesday night. The bright side was that I woke up to Matt Cain and Amy Gutierrez hiking in Petaluma for a G Mag segment.
