SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — After being held scoreless in a 4-0 loss to the Dodgers on Wednesday, the Giants scored a run but managed just three hits in a 7-1 loss to the Indians on Thursday.

There’s not much to glean from the at-bats Giants hitters have taken over the last two days, but there’s plenty to learn about a pitching staff that continues to take shape.
