A community gathering on mental health will take place 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 26 at Twin Lakes Church, 2701 Cabrillo College Drive.
This one-day event is for anyone interested in mental health both personally or professionally.
The program opens with several speakers including special guest, former San Francisco Giants pitcher Dave Dravecky, who will talk about his own struggles with mental health. Community leaders and mental health professionals will give workshops and participate in an afternoon panel along with representatives from various ministries and organizations.
