The San Francisco Giants made a few roster moves on Sunday. Left-handed pitcher Drew Smyly was placed on the ten-day Injured List due to a strain in his left index finger. Right-handed pitcher Andrew Triggs has been selected from the alternate training site to take Smyly’s place.
To clear room for Triggs on the 40-man roster, right-handed pitcher Jandel Gustave has been designated for assignment.
