This is about as spicy as spring training gets.
The Arizona Diamondbacks have somehow found themselves in a feud with iconic Giants broadcaster Jon Miller, who, to be totally fair, absolutely started it.
Miller blasted the D-backs in a KNBR radio broadcast of a Cactus League split-squad game Saturday. In Miller's view, the team had failed to adequately prep the broadcasters with information about its players and staff. Miller joked that he had "to guess" about who was involved in a play and then unloaded, interspersing his rant with occasional play-by-play.
"The D-backs decided the heck with the big leagues — let’s just not be a big-league team for the split squad," Miller said.
