Computer malfunction causes lengthy darkness delay at SF Giants game

Giants fans have seen enough. That's what the computer system running the Oracle Park lights decided on Monday night, crashing just before the sun went down in San Francisco. As the sun fully set, the game against the visiting Padres was delayed because it was too dark to play.

"It was dark out there,” Padres outfielder Jurickson Profar said. "I saw the ball good. But to see in the dugout, I couldn’t see in the dugout to see where to position, and they couldn’t see on the field either,” he said of his coaches.
