MILWAUKEE–Ryan Braun was upset with Madison Bumgarner, and in turn, Madison Bumgarner became upset with Ryan Braun.
After Bumgarner made that known, it cost the Giants a 6-3 defeat.
In his first two at-bats, Braun scalded two balls, a double and a long flyout, before he stepped to the plate in the sixth inning and took two fastballs high and tight.
As hitters sometimes do, Braun took issue with the location of the pitches. Too close for comfort in his estimation.
So Braun voiced his frustration to Bumgarner and wore a third fastball off his left elbow.
