Former Giants great Barry Bonds again fell short of the 75 percent vote required for entry to the Hall of Fame in 2019.
But his vote percentage continued to trend upward in his eighth year of eligibility for admittance. That’s not much of a surprise — most eligible players see their percentages creep toward the 75 percent mark the longer they remain on the ballot.
