Yesterday, 33-year old Tyler Rogers sunk the Pirates in the 9th inning to clinch a series win for the San Francisco Giants and his 19th career save. It was also his 301st inning pitched and 242nd game, numbers I was reminded of thanks to Jeff Young, posting about Rogers’ accomplishment from the previous game:
Tyler Rogers reached 300 innings for his career on Wednesday night. Only 4 other relievers have completed more innings since Rogers' debut in 2019 and his 2.91 ERA is the best by a comfortable margin among that group.
