The 2024 Willie McCovey Memorial Community Prospect List keeps marching on, as we seek to come together as a community to rank the 44 best prospects in the San Francisco Giants organization.
In the latest chapter, we added one of the most exciting and dynamic players in the system: left-handed pitcher Carson Whisenhunt, who has been voted as the No. 4 prospect on the farm. It’s a rise of four spots of Whisenhunt, who was the No. 8 prospect last year, in his inaugural CPL.
A second-round pick in 2022, Whisehunt had, nearly unanimously, the best season of any Giants pitching prospect in 2023.
