Giants to trade for Indians' Asdrubal Cabrera, Mike Aviles?

In today's Giants trade rumors and news update, the San Francisco Giants have targeted two Cleveland Indians players as potential pickups prior to the July 31st non-waiver trading deadline.

According to Jon Morosi of FOX Sports 1, the Giants are looking at Cleveland starting shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera and utility man Mike Aviles as potential upgrades for the club in their race for the NL West pennant:

It has been a relatively down season for Cabrera, with the two-time AL All-Star hitting just .250 with nine home runs and 32 RBIs. However, his flexibility in the middle of the infield (he can play both second and short) could be of great help to a Giants team in need of production out of their second base slot.

Aviles can also slot at second or short, along with third base, left field, and center field. He is currently hitting .269 with 3 home runs and 23 RBIs in 201 at-bats for the Tribe.
