Giants Trade Rumors: "No untouchables" on Giants roster, Zobrist trade to come?

In today's look into the world of Giants trade rumors, San Francisco Giants general manager Brian Sabean isn't shy about announcing who they could shop on the trade market before the July 31st non-waiver deadline. That's because everyone is on the block.

“We’ve told everybody that everybody we have is in play–there are no untouchables in our organization,” Sabean said via Tim Kawakami of the San Jose Mercury News.

"All our prospects are in play, but at this point we need bullpen help, you can always use another a starter, second base, bench help…"

Sabean did indicate that the Giants will attempt to look from within first, seeing if they have the answers inside the organization for what has been a trying stretch over the past few weeks.

However, the Giants have been linked to middle infielders on the trade market. Second baseman Ben Zobrist of the Tampa Bay Rays has reportedly caught the Giants' eye, meaning that Sabean's assertion of "no untouchables" could very well come into play in the near future.
