Giants Rumors: Giants not done making moves, Zobrist on the radar?

In today's Giants rumors and news update, the San Francisco Giants aren't looking to stop at dealing for starting pitcher Jake Peavy - with a potential trade for Tampa Bay Rays second baseman Ben Zobrist still being discussed.

According to Jon Morosi of FOX Sports 1, San Francisco had representatives watching Tampa Bay play this weekend with Zobrist the likely reason for their presence:

After trading for former Atlanta Braves second baseman Dan Uggla last week, many thought that the Giants were done looking for help at second base. But, Uggla's early struggles (0 hits and three errors in his first three games) could change the team's tact in addressing the middle of the infield.

The one obstacle could be the Rays' recent success. Winners of ten of their last eleven, Tampa has vaulted themselves back into the conversation in both the AL Wild Card and AL East pennant races - perhaps causing the Rays to shut down their sellers' mindset and hold on to their current construction through the end of the season.
