WSOC | Three First Half Goals Propel Dons to Win Over Visiting Sooners

SAN FRANCISCO – A trio of first half goals and a stellar defensive effort propelled the University of San Francisco women's soccer team to a 3-1 victory over visiting Oklahoma on Sunday afternoon at Negoesco Stadium.

Senior scored twice with scoring the game winner all in the opening half. Sophomore keeper finished the day with eight saves and was a second half penalty kick away from a clean sheet as she and the Dons improved to 3-4-2 on the year.

  • Giraud broke a scoreless tie with her first goal of the afternoon coming in the 16th minute, she sent a long lob past the keeper who was well out of the box.
