WSOC | Dons Strike First But Settle For Tie Against No. 14 Cowgirls

SAN FRANCISCO – Regulation and two overtime periods was not enough time to break the tie as the University of San Francisco women's soccer team and No. 14 Oklahoma State settled for a 1-1 draw on Friday evening at Negoesco Stadium.
The Dons struck first on a penalty kick in the 69 minute by senior forward . Nine minutes later the Cowgirls tied it up on a header from Claire Gantzer on a corner kick. The Dons were outshot by Oklahoma State 17-15, but the two sides were even with seven shot son goal each.
