SAN BRUNO, Calif. – University of San Francisco women's basketball forward Abby Rathbun has been named the UCU West Coast Conference Player of the Week. It is the first time in Rathbun's career that she has earned that honor. The Dons swept the weekly awards, with teammate Ioanna Krimili earning Freshman of the Week.
Rathbun went off in the Dons lopsided road win over Sacramento State last week that saw USF break seven single-game records. The native of Moses Lake, Wash., recorded a career-high 22 points in the historic win, going 10-for-13 from the field, while grabbing six rebounds, and dishing out one assist.
