BOISE, Idaho – The University of San Francisco volleyball team (2-3) returned to the win column on Thursday afternoon, defeating Idaho State (2-5) in a three-set sweep in the first match of the Boise State Invitational at Bronco Gym.

- In a back-and-forth opening frame that neither team led by more than three points, San Francisco pulled ahead early, 10-9, following a 3-0 scoring run. Maeve Bailey and Hokulani Perez led the Dons offensively, producing one kill apiece.
- Trailing 22-19 later in the first set, Idaho State recorded four straight points to regain the lead, 23-22.
